3. Lưu ý một số cấu tạo khác của THERE IS và THERE ARE
Một số cấu tạo khác của THERE IS cùng THERE ARE
3.1. There is + someone/ anyone/ no one/ something/ anything/ nothing
Mục đích: dùng để nói về có ai đó/ bất kể ai/ không ai/ sản phẩm gì đó/ bất kể thứ gì/ không gì cả.
Ví dụ:
- There"s someone on the phone for you. (Có ai đó đang đợi máy bạn)
- Is there anything wrong with you? (Có chuyện gì với chúng ta vậy?)
- There"s something odd with this letter. (Bức thư này có nào đó lạ lắm)
3.2. There + is + Noun/ something/ someone/...+ mệnh đề quan liêu hệ/ to- Infinitive
Ví dụ:
- There is a film I want lớn see. (Có một bộ phim truyền hình tôi mong xem)
- There is nothing to vì here. (Ở phía trên chẳng bao gồm gì có tác dụng cả)
- There is something I must say. (Có mấy điều tôi nên nói)

3.3. There is a number of + danh trường đoản cú số nhiều
Mục đích: Dùng để mong muốn nhấn mạnh toàn diện và tổng thể nhóm.
Ví dụ: There is a number of unnamed stars in our galaxy. (nhấn táo tợn từng ngôi sao sáng trong số những ngôi sao 5 cánh chưa được để tên)
3.4. There are a number of + danh từ bỏ số nhiều
Mục đích: Dùng để nhấn mạnh vấn đề tới từng member trong nhóm.
Ví dụ:There are a number of unnamed stars in our galaxy. (nhấn mạnh toàn bộ các ngôi sao chưa được đặt tên)
3.5. There is/are + a number of = There is/are a variety of + danh tự số nhiều
Mục đích: dùng để chỉ tập hợp/ nhóm.
Ví dụ:
-There is a wide variety of flavors lớn choose from.
- There are a variety of unique destinations we can visit.

Nếu danh từ đầu tiên của chuỗi liệt kê là danh từ số không nhiều thì ta dùng kết cấu ‘There is’

There are + Nsố nhiều
Ex: There are three bananas in my bag.
(Có tía quả chuối vào túi của tôi)
Khi danh từ của chuỗi liệt kê bắt đầu bằng danh từ số các thì dùng kết cấu ‘There are’
Ex: There are two oranges, four bananas và a cake in the fridge.
(Có 2 trái cam, 4 quả chuối và 1 cái bánh ở trong tủ lạnh)
