My skin is generally oily, & I have enlarged pores, excess sebum, acne (blackheads & whiteheads), và skin that easily gets red. My skin is also very acne prone as well because most of the skin products I have used either instantly broke me out with pimples or cysts or were effective but eventually led to lớn a noticeable increase of whiteheads, blackheads, và closed comedones that took a long time khổng lồ go away. For most of my life, I had resigned myself to lớn living without a skin care routine because it seemed like my skin would always be irritated by everything. Blindsided by my frustrations with acne và oily skin, it was not until I tried Klairs Supple Preparation Toner that I started khổng lồ consider the possibility of also having sensitive skin! I had finally found a toner that soothed the redness in my skin, kept it moisturized without being too oily, and didn't irritate my skin at all! It's been a few months, the longest I've ever used a skin care hàng hóa without any issues, và my skin is definitely not as red as it used to be and I haven't even developed any new non-hormone related acne, like I normally would have by now. As for why I would love to try this product, despite my great success with the toner, I am still on a quest to lớn find a moisturizer that effectively rehydrates and balances my oily skin without the drawbacks that I have experienced with all moisturizers thus far, namely the irritation và increased blackheads và closed comedones. Some of Klairs' other products, like the Gentle black Sugar Charcoal Soap & the Gentle black Deep Cleansing Oil, have also been very effective and non-irritating on my skin, so, given this good track record with Klairs products, I am really hoping that this could become a holy grail nhà cửa for me lượt thích the other products have!
Did nothing except pill
Did not see any calming effect, or anything other immediate skin benefit. Every time I used it in the morning, it pilled & I had to lớn wash my face và start over with the morning routine. I will use it up at night, but will not be repurchasing.

I love this cream! I have extrmeely dry skin that has overall redness. Ive always used various types of moisturizers that are thick & slather them on to help my skin problems. But ever since i started using this before bed, ive woken up with such calmer & less red skin & this is the only thing ive changed in my routine.

It's unnecessary to lớn buy… It did not calm ANY redness on my skin.. It's the lightest cream that does not moisturize at all if you're expecting it to vì chưng that. It only looks nice lol

Holy grail product! Ive been using this for over a year & nothing else compares. I have rosacea và this helps to lớn calm the redness and dryness instantly. The formula is perfect! It's not greasy or sticky & does not burn my face.

I absolutely love this! It's the only cream that works for me. I use it every night and sometimes during the day. It calms & moisturizes my combo, sensitive, mild rosacea skin without making it greasy! Ulta, please never stop selling this & please consider making it available in the stores.

It’s difficult for me khổng lồ instantly like most of the skincare products I use because most take time to lớn work. There are ones that start off as bad impressions that later go on lớn win me over. Then there are ones that will go from bad lớn sour because there’s no one kích cỡ fits all formula. What works for everybody else might not work for me và vice versa. But to lớn this, I give my heart. I even wish it were a facial moisturizer because I love the comfort I get from this xanh cream.

For the record, I’m not a huge fan hâm mộ of creams. There’s probably only a few formulas I would ever recommend because as someone with oily skin, creams are just burdensome. I mean they clog pores, bring out sebum, and are just clammy on my skin. But there was definitely something bewitching about the Midnight xanh Calming Cream that made me forget I wasn’t really a cream person. It was most likely the color but I’m going lớn say it was the cream’s claim to tame skin irritation. FYI, I have oily skin, no acne woes but I vì experience redness, itchiness và sensitivity on bad days.

I’m a sucker for this gorgeous blue. I can’t stop looking at it. The cream doesn’t retain its blue color and will actually turn transparent once it’s applied lớn the skin. Is it a facial moisturizer or a spot treatment cream?

I was a part of the latter camp, I thought it was a facial moisturizer with soothing properties. The kích cỡ should have been a dead giveaway but it didn’t register until later. So I hope to lớn clear this up. This is actually not a facial moisturizer và you might find it even lackluster if you used it as one. Its purpose is to lớn bring fast relief to skin irritation. I can tell the immediate difference in my skin’s moisture when I use this alone and when I pair it with a moisturizer. With a cream, I wake up with more plump và moisturized skin, without one, my skin feels significantly under moisturized. Straight out of the jar, this looks beautiful but a tad bit intimidating especially to lớn me since I have oily skin. But this thins out nicely with a silky texture that glides on the skin without the greasiness or heaviness of most creams. It’s lightweight and absorbs within a short moment. The first thing this does is instantly cools the skin. The effect is immediate and it’s actually quite nice now especially that the weather has gotten hotter. This could definitely be stored in the refrigerator khổng lồ amplify the cooling sensation this cream offers on the skin. I have to mention while this does apply without a greasy or tacky residue, I bởi vì wake up oilier than usual when I use this. While this can be applied whenever your skin needs quick comfort, I reserve this for my evening routine because that’s when the redness likes to rear its ugly head. All it took was a small amount of this to lớn completely relieve the itching.
While this is contained in a glass jar, I still find it travel-friendly because of its small size. Due lớn the ongoing problems with COVID, it’s unlikely that I will be traveling any time in the near future but I can already see myself with this on trips out of town. I don’t know why but something about being away from home always gives my skin a reason khổng lồ act up. I feel comforted to know I can tuck this in a bag & take it with me because my skin loves lớn misbehave when I travel.
My jar is currently half full, er half empty but I can already tell, I won’t let it run out before restocking. I already wish I had more of this.
