You will love these!
To say I love these would be The Understatement of the Year. The PKLLs are dense mousse lipsticks that can provide everything from a soft blurred wash of color to a more opaque, stronger effect. You can create a sharp edge with the wand applicator or diffuse with a lip brush, your finger, or just by smushing your lips together. One coat will dry down slightly, preventing excessive transfer. Two or more coats will leave a softer balmy feeling, but with more chances khổng lồ transfer and pill as the day wears on. These will also smear a bit if you are wearing your mask for an hour+. I have extremely wrinkly lips and these bởi not settle, crack or crease. However, they also bởi vì not leave much of a stain behind. I didn't find the online swatches helpful at all. I bought 3 "blind" (MACSMASH, Devoted to Chili, and A Little Tamed), loved them so much I bought 3 more (Over the Taupe, Make Love khổng lồ the Camera, & the More the Mehr-ier) & loved all 6 of them SO MUCH I literally just ordered every single other màu sắc on the Ulta trang web because they are just $15 during the black Friday sale. The photos were all taken in natural light. I have light/medium skin with both yellow and red undertones — for reference I can wear most foundations running NC20 to lớn NW35 (I'm mixed race european and asian). Of course, YMMV và everyone has their own preferences regarding color, texture, scent, longevity, etc. But I really think most people will like these, as they are just the perfect liquid, bullet, powder hybrid. And if you liked but were somewhat underwhelmed by the original bullet Powder Kiss Lipsticks, and enjoyed the Pony Effect Limited edition mousse lipsticks even tho they don't last long, you will LOVE the PKLLs because they blow both the bullets & Pony out of the water in terms of performance, comfort, & color-saturation.
I am SO bummed
I had SUCH high hopes for this when I initially tried it on! I purchased Date-Maker (because you can't try on in stores currently) and instantly fell in love when I tried it on in my car. It has an extremely light và soft weight. The color is BEAUTIFUL... A perfect warm nude that I have been searching for forever... (I typically wear Hitch Hiker or Uptight in the Urban Decay comfort mattes, but I've been on the hunt for a liquid lipstick that could survive wearing masks). However, by the time I got home from my trăng tròn minute drive... The màu sắc disappeared! I thought maybe I didn't apply enough. The next day, I did full makeup and applied this... Only to find it disappeared an hour later! So. I want khổng lồ love it. I DID love it... But it frankly doesn't last longer than an average chapstick. If there is a trick to get this khổng lồ last... Lipliner or lipgloss or anything... I would try khổng lồ purchase again. As of now, I returned it. If there is a long lasting lipstick in this same color, I would love lớn purchase it!!!

This is one of my fave lip products and the formula is so silky & soft on the lips. I also love the colors that it comes in.

The only thing good about this is how it feels. It is very smooth & creamy. But it doesn't last at all. Và the brush is awful! Never again.

They were pigmented with most shades being nearly opaque lớn opaque but a few that fell slightly below. For a more diffused look, you"d want khổng lồ apply with fingertips or just to the center of the lips and then use a brush or fingertips khổng lồ blow out the color. The colors went on fairly evenly, và I found most of the time where it did not, it was an issue with an over-application of product (despite just using one pull of product!) và the formula was more forgiving when applied with less product (but that still was plenty to lớn cover my lips with near-full coverage!).
They mattify over time--as the màu sắc wore away--and are more transfer-resistant at that point, but the formula itself is a more flexible, though I could definitely feel it on, & has a more satin-like finish for the first couple of hours of wear. I"d recommend blotting gently on the back of your hand (less likely to lớn get tissue bits on your lips that way) lớn soften & mattify faster, if desired.
The lighter shades didn"t wear away as evenly and had more noticeable wear along the center of my lips, while the more mid-tone và deeper shades lasted longer & more evenly as they tended khổng lồ stain a bit. The wear ranged from five to eight hours, but the formula wasn"t providing any "immediate" moisture for me, & after wearing a lot of shades back-to-back, my lips were slightly dehydrated.
